Thomson Thomas nom de guerre Tom is an Indian Violinist, Music Composer and a Live Performer having the roots from the God’s own country – Kerala, clung to the strings of Violin at the age of 4.
Under the unwavering guidance of Sri Udayabhanu he is tuned into carnatic flair, Mr Vijayan Japheth helped him fiddle the Western ilk and Music | Trinity college London buoyed up for him to out and out 8th Grade in violin.
The passion for music has only grown organically ever since and has enchanted him to find HIS style. From carnatic to psybient and from experimental adaptations to world music, Tom loves to twiddle it through his strings and with a vast palate of sounds, the intuitive state of the art technologies and tools available, musical metamorphosis has limitless possibilities.
His musical journey has been predictively interesting due to his enthusiasm and evenness. He always thrives in creating colossal puissant music that would move, save, impact, inspire and bring the souls together.
His dream of having a musical school is delectably taking shape as he has already crossed training over a 100 students till date. He up-skills his tutees in both carnatic and Western and also does rhythm consultations.
He has musically directed a couple of Malayalam and Kannada projects and has worked with various music directors across South Indian film fraternity.
He has given innumerable shows in India and abroad both as soloist as well as collaborations.
